A few friends and I drove over the warehouse the other night and there was a fence all the way around (but we didn't know this at the time) and we thought we could go through the woods in the back of the warehouse and get through that way, we basically couldn't and ended up leaving bummed out and we went back today during the day time to see if we could find a way through, so the next night we wanted to go we'd have a way to get in.
SO as we were getting ready to turn on the street that takes us to the dirt road, we saw the biggest redneck family walking out of the dirt road entry and we didn't want to look suspicious so we just drove past the dirt road entrance and we were going to drive around some until this family left,... but they didn't. That warehouse is a family affair, it's all owned by that family.
It turned out they owned the house on the cornor of the road right next to the dirt road. So they saw us and the crazy man who was in this family outting hopped in his car and sped off down the dirt road. We decide that now is not the best time to go down the dirt road and we start off for the highway.
After us pulling over for a few minutes, deciding what to do , (because we really didnt want to drive back because it would've been a waste of gas) we went back to the dirt road. This time we went down it and we went right by the warehouse. It looks so different during the day. Deffinately beat down. We drove past it and up the road right next to it (which was still dirt) . And on this road it was neverending. It was all woods on one side and a gated field on the other. We get to an entrance to this gate and take pictures then we see a car. It stopped at the end of the road with its lights off. And just sat there. Then when we got in the car and started driving towards it, it turned around and went the other direction.
It turns out its the fucking crazy mans' truck. We pass directly by him and he does a fast 3 point turn and starts chasing us with his truck. We sped out of there like a bat out of fucking hell. He chased us until we were off the dirt road.
We never did get into the warehouse, but we went back after he had chased us away and took more pictures.
All in all, I dont think its haunted, its just highly guarded by a crazy redneck family and its a waste of time since I didn't really get to go in.
I also have a question though, does anyone know why the YMCA was abandoned? I went there last night too and yeah, it's pretty big. Alot of stuff was left behind too, lane lines for the pool, basketball hoops, even a basketball. Anyone know any history on this place?
